Separate the two payment stages

The official shopping guide distinguishes paying for the purchase from paying to ship the parcel internationally. Start a simple ledger with planned, quoted and paid amounts. A top-up to your account is not automatically a second product cost; reconcile it against what the balance actually pays for.

Read the product checkout line by line

Record the selected item's price, quantity and any domestic delivery or service charges shown for that order. Check whether a displayed total already includes a component before adding it again. Save the current checkout breakdown; a spreadsheet estimate or converted display price is not an invoice.

Check currency conversion and payment charges

Before confirming payment, compare the charged currency, exchange rate and any fee disclosed by the payment provider or platform. Do not assume the catalog's conversion matches your bank's final debit. If you compare two payment methods, compare the same purchase amount and note when the quotes were obtained.

Add international shipping from a consistent estimate

Use the official calculator with destination, product type, kilograms and packed dimensions in centimetres. Treat optional packaging or protection as separate lines when shown. Read what the selected route includes; do not assume destination charges are included merely because a route has an attractive name.

Use a worked budget without mistaking it for a quote

Illustration only, in one currency: product 200 + domestic delivery 10 + international shipping 120 + a displayed payment fee 5 = 335. These numbers are invented to demonstrate addition, not Pikobuy rates. Add only charges that actually apply and keep an unconfirmed amount marked as unknown.

Reconcile changes, refunds and the final total

Replace each estimate with the final charge as the order progresses. Log a refund separately and check where it is credited before treating it as returned to your original payment method. Compare the final net spend with the original budget to identify whether the difference came from price, packing, currency or a selected service.
